Call for Papers

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 2nd International Conference on Signal, Image, Vision and their Application (SIVA'13, Guelma, Algeria):

The second edition of the international Conference on Signal, Image, Vision and their Applications (SIVA'13) aims at gathering international researchers, educators, and practitioners in signal and image processing theory and tools, for exchanging their experiences and discussing future orientations. The conference will offer an opportunity to fill the gap between signal and image processing researchers and people working in other application fields such as doctors and industrial parts. The conference aims to provide an excellent forum for all interested people in these areas to meet and discuss various important issues on signal and image processing and their applications.

The conference program is comprised of oral and poster presentations. The format used in the previous SIVA'11 will be kept; it will include a balanced mix of keynote and invited speakers, as well as regular submissions. In addition, there will be a good mix of plenary and tutorial sessions.

Papers are invited in, but not limited to, the following technical areas:

SIVA’13 is organized and sponsored by the PI:MIS Laboratoty , the conference will take place at the 08 MAI 1945 University, Guelma city (North-East of Algeria). A social program will be organized to allow visiting Hammam Meskhoutin and the Roman relics of Calama.

The city of Guelma is well known for its hammams (thermal baths), among which the most known is Hammam Meskhoutin. Besides this, the Roman relics of Calama constitute a very important archeological legacy. Guelma has numerous archeological sites which show the wealth of the historical and tourist heritage of the city such as the Roman Theatre (4500 seats), the Roman swimming pool, the ancient relics of Thibilis, the underground lake in Bir Osmane, the caves of Djebel Taya in Bouhamdane, the climatic stations of Mount Maouna and the recreation forest of Beni Salah.
