International Staff Week 2023 dedicated to Languages which will take place at the University of Beira Interior, in Covilhã, Portugal between February 13th-17th, 2023

Participants will:

• learn Portuguese for beginners (A1, A2) or Catalan (A1, A2) or Romanian (A1, A2) or English (A2/B1 or B2+), or deepen the knowledge about Intercomprehension aspects in the teaching and learning of Romance languages;

• enjoy the cultural and social activities which are planning for an authentic experience at UBI University, the city and region;

• Connect with University of Beira Interior offices' and departments' representatives and learn more about the daily life;

• promote the University and network with around +100 expected participants and representatives from other HEIs around the world keen to receive mobility students and staff.

Participants have two options, explained in more detail in the pamphlet we are attaching:

• Option 1: 15h of lessons on your chosen Language/course + 2 lunches + 1 dinner + guided visits to the Wool Museum & Covilhã Urban Art - 100 €/UBI staff 80 €

• Option 2: option 1 + Belmonte Castle and Museums and Quinta dos Termos Vineyard on February 17th - 135 €/UBI staff 115 €
